Caleb's First Day of Kindergarten/6th Birthday

Today was the first day of Kindergarten for Caleb as well as his 6th birthday. It was a big day for him. Greg and I walked him to his class to show him the way and re-introduce his teacher to him, Mrs. Miller. She seemed very sweet and I was excited he was going to have someone nice and caring. Caleb did good until right before we were about to leave, then he was nervous and wanted to go home with us. I almost cried then, but was proud I stayed strong for him. I can't believe he is old enough to be in kindergarten, time is going by way too fast. Today was also Greg and my 8th wedding anniversary, so we celebrated by eating lunch together and reminiscing on the years. This evening we let Caleb decide where he wanted to have dinner, so it was no surprise when he picked Joe's Crabshack. Hehe and Chance met us to help celebrate at dinner. Caleb wanted to go there because he likes to dance, but when they put him on the spot to ride the stick horse and dance, he got shy and just stood there and smiled. So different than his younger self already. Lol! We had a successful day overall.

Caleb's Angry Bird Birthday Party

Caleb wanted to have the Angry bird theme for his 6th birthday party. We picked the Urban Air Trampoline Park to have his party with several of his close friends.

The started with some mild jumping on the trampoline squares, with even Lexie and Daddy getting in on the fun. Then the boys went wild all over the inside park. They had lots of fun, but were often stopped to be reminded of the rules by their staff which I tried not to laugh at. I think all the boys were hearing was "blah, blah, blah." The highlight of the party for the boys was the Dodge ball game.

I went inside the game area with them to get some pictures and was a little nervous once the balls started flying. I'm not sure who was having more fun, the kids or the dads. We finally had all the fun we could stand, and stopped for pizza and cake. Our friend Kristen did an amazing job on the Angry Bird Cake.

I'm so glad everyone got to come and take part in his special occasion. We hauled his present lute home for him to open there.

He was very appreciated of al the goodies given.
