Hi Everyone!
I am still alive, though some days I wonder. The nausea is still with me on my 12th week of pregnancy, I can just hope it starts to diminish by the 16th as it did with Caleb. The evenings are the worst for me, hence no blogging or further communication with the outside world. So I thought I would try writing a little earlier in the day. I wanted to try to catch up everyone on Caleb's past month. Occasionally I would have the energy to take some pictures, or have Greg take pics to eventually share. I'll start out saying Caleb was really an American Idol fan this season. He asked for it almost every night. I recorded the shows so we could watch it together, and we would argue over which songs we liked. Before the show started he would run and get his "microphone" to sing along and dance during each song.
Greg and Caleb were in his cousin's wedding the beginning of May, I stayed behind so Greg's Aunt was good enough to take some pictures. They said Caleb did a great job as ring bearer and loved wearing his new tux.
Greg said he had to feed Caleb raisins throughout the ceremony to keep him quiet. Whatever works right.
I was very proud of him. He is a great fan of weddings now.
We had another wedding to attend 2 weekends ago for one of my good friends. I actually did ok on that journey. Caleb was very excited about another wedding, but I was worried he thought he was going to be in this wedding too. I explained we were just going to watch, and he said "no I am IN the wedding." He did well though, and didn't run up the isle like I was fearing. We had a wonderful time, especially Caleb who was enjoying all the attention. He was on the dance floor most of the night with all the pretty girls. We made sure to stay in a hotel with a heated pool that weekend so Caleb can enjoy a swim.
He was sooo excited, he even told the hotel staff he was going swimming on the way in.
This past weekend we found the energy to make it to the Aquarium.
We had never been before, it was pretty amazing. Caleb loved seeing all the different creatures.
But our favorite was the sharks!

We had lunch at Dicks Last Resort afterward since Greg's never been. For those of you who haven't been, the waiters and waitresses are rude to you purposely. It really is amusing, and they really aren't that bad. It was nice to finally get a good family outing again.
Yesterday was my birthday. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling great. Big surprise huh! I told Caleb it was my birthday, he then insisted on coming to my birthday party and wanted to have cake, ice cream and candy. He also wanted to help me "blow out the fire on the cake." I didn't want to disappoint him, so Greg bought some balloons along with the cake and after nap we had our "party." Caleb helped me blow out the candles, and enjoyed playing with the balloons.
But after a while he looked around and said "is the party over?" I guess our party can't compete with his usual gigs.

Sorry to hear that you're still feeling crummy. Caleb looks so darling in his tux!
We love the Aquarium, the shark tunnel is awesome.
