Well we tried to take Caleb to see Santa last week, but we did so during what should have been Caleb's nap time because we were running late. That wasn't such a good idea. He arched his back and cried, even with me sitting with him by Santa. I would have got the picture anyway, but he was almost turned completely around, so I thought we would try another time. Of course immediately after that, Caleb said "i want to see Santa". Today I only worked half a day, so I took Caleb to see Santa one more time. He was very excited. They had a train and snow globe, or what Caleb called a "snow ball" to play in. He was really enjoying himself. But as we got closer to Santa, Caleb started changing his mind about "sitting on Santa's lap like a big boy". I warned the photographer that he may cry and to just take a quick photo, but I thought I'd give it one last effort to avoid the crying fit that was sure to come. As any good mother would do, I bribed Caleb with pizza to sit with Santa like a big boy. (Only because he asked for it earlier for some reason and that's all I could think of under pressure.) The little toot actually sat right on Santa's lap and smiled for 3 photos, then actually talked to Santa. I couldn't believe it. I guess you know what we had for dinner.

We tried twice this year. Teresa was happy in both of them, though a bit nervous initially. Addison looks sadder than sad for the first one, and is downright displeased for the second one.
