Eggstravaganza

Today we took Caleb to the Eggstravaganza at the Elm Fork Nature Preserve. They started with activities at different stations. Caleb particularly enjoyed using a magnifying glass to examine different animal shells and rocks. We colored, made a rabbit necklace, and an Easter card. We even built bunny ears, which he later wore everywhere we went. Then they told stories, but Caleb preferred to take a walk around the Nature Preserve during that activity. Too much energy I guess. Then finally the Easter Egg Hunt. Caleb was particular about which color eggs he wanted, so he skipped several eggs to find the right ones. Then he sat and enjoyed opening all his eggs and playing with the goodies inside. He compared his goodies with a little girl nearby doing the same thing.
On our way home we saw some wonderful blue bonnets, so we stopped to take more pictures.
