Fun, Fun, Fun
Today was my day off with the kids.
Lex and I enjoyed watching Caleb during his swim lessons. He was working on taking a breath while swimming and mastering floating.
He continues to be fearless of the water so I am glad lessons are paying off. Afterward we went to their school for the Fourth of July Parade. Caleb didn't want to miss it. He readied himself with his very crafty hat, and joined the march around the school.
The poor toddlers cried most the time since they could see their parents just out of their reach.
Then we headed home to enjoy the rest of the afternoon off. Our neighbors have 3 kids, Dax 4, Ace 3, and Ivy who is 2 weeks older than Lexie. They came over to enjoy a play date while their mom, Amber, and I visited. Lexie and Ivy always seem to want what the other is chewing on, though they also enjoy trying to grab each others face or hair.
The boys were playing the roles of different super heroes of course. After the playroom was destroyed and all the fun was had at home. Greg and I took the kids to dinner and then to watch Toy Story 3, which was definitely my favorite of the trilogy. Overall it was a successful day off with the kids.
