Today was the Caleb's Little League kick-off. It started bright and early at the fields with team pictures. The boys had already had enough time to get dirt and grass stains on their very white uniforms. What is up with white baseball uniforms! Don't they know white is impossible to keep clean, especially when you slide in dirt!
Anyway, the boys were full of energy, so getting them all still for pictures was a slight challenge. After pictures, they were free to enjoy the bounce houses provided. They seem to have a good time and I was happy to see Caleb jump off some of his extra energy. We ended the morning with the official welcome and opening of "festivities" by the League's president.
The kids took an extra long nap after that which I was very happy about. Greg had to go out of town for the night to support his baby sister on her Christian walk, so that us to fend for ourselves. The kids woke from nap rejuvenated, so we headed over to the neighbors to ride bikes and play outside. We ended the day with a quick bath and sat down to watch Yogi Bear, the movie.
A nice ending to a busy Saturday.
