Caleb started back to school this week. I am actually having him do a private Kindergarten at his daycare and then public Kindergarten next year since his birthday is so late. But he was pretty excited to be in class with kids he knows and though he will miss Ms. Epperson, is excited to meet his new teacher. This morning before school, I asked if he had any homework yet. He informs me yes and I was supposed to sign his notebook everyday. What notebook? Well apparently his new backpack had a thick black folder with all kinds of good information and homework to do every night. The teacher must have been very disappointed in our progress. Haha! Well we had some catching up to do. I guess this will get me prepared for public school next year too. Lexie is still in her same class, and her vocabulary continues to grow. She is saying all kinds of new words and demands like "mere" for come here, "night night", "eat", "c-bar" for cereal bar, and "Stop" or "don't".
She is not shy either, she likes to say "hi" to most people she passes wherever we go. It's fun watching her interact more with the world around her.
Caleb and Lex enjoy dressing up with some of Caleb's new birthday presents! Greg woke up to these two hovering over him. Haha!
